Housewife 'confused' over set row

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria-Parker has pronounced she is "confused" about recent assault claims done by a former co-star about a show's creator.

Nicollette Sheridan, who played Edie Britt, is suing Marc Cherry for $20m (£13.1m) over claims he assaulted her upon set.

Speaking upon Ryan Seacrest's Kiis FM uncover in a US, Longoria-Parker pronounced Cherry "couldn't harm a fly".

She also pronounced Sheridan, who left a uncover in 2009, was a "sweet girl".

'Killed off'

Longoria-Parker, who plays Gabrielle Solis, pronounced she had been wakeful of an "incident" upon set a few years ago, though had not been told a details.

In a legal action filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Sheridan has alleged Marc Cherry strike her in a face in Sep 2008 after she queried a script.

The actress claimed when she reported a incident to a ABC network, Cherry killed off her character.

"It's a big lawsuit, it's a big deal," Longoria-Parker said.

"I adore a uncover so much that we would hate for anything to really tarnish a repute of a show. we really would similar to all of it to go away."

The 35-year-old admitted she had not been in hold with Sheridan for a while.

"I haven't talked to her given she left a show. We used to be really friendly when she was here, though she was kind of u! pon vaca tion for a while, so we haven't seen her around in Los Angeles. we would adore to see her to find out if everything is OK," she said.
