Titans conquer box office in US

Remake Clash of the Titans has topped the North American box office in the opening weekend receiving $61.4m (£40.3m), according to studio estimates.
The 3D movie, starring Sam Worthington, is an refurbish of the 1981 movie featuring Laurence Olivier as well as Maggie Smith.

Tyler Perry supplement Why Did we Get Married Too? opened during series dual with $30.2m (£19.8m).

Clash of the Titans, that is based upon the Greek myth of Perseus, also stars Liam Neeson, Gemma Arterton as well as Pete Postlethwaite.
